meerkat for blog

Some animals have unique adaptations that help them survive better in their environment. For example, elephants can’t bend their short necks to reach food and water. An elephant’s adaptation is it’s long trunk.

But what about the meerkat? What adaptations help the meerkat survive in the dangerous desert?

With this exciting activity, you’ll find everything you need to build your own meerkat with your family! With each unique body part, your children will  discover how this adaptive animal survives in a harsh desert environment.
