The 2016 Breakthrough Junior Challenge is Underway!

Calling all scientists, mathematicians, and filmmakers, ages 13-18, from around the world. The 2016 Breakthrough Junior Challenge is underway. This competition, in partnership with the Khan Academy, invites students to submit a video (max 5 minutes) that explains a challenging and important concept or theory in mathematics, life sciences, or physics. The winner will get a $250,000 scholarship. The winning student’s teacher and school will also benefit: $50,000 for the teacher and a state-of-the-art $100,000 science lab for the school.
